Track 2, “Love Maybe,” puts that sonic world into the context of house and invites the listener to loosen up and start moving. In the interest of “more cowbell!” the drop features a cowbell on the central rhythmic motif of the piece. A vocal chop leads the second verse and emphasizes the harmonic movement and creates a sense of being pulled into the next chord. This track was originally composed and produced for the Berklee Online course “Composing and Producing Electronic Music 1.” In other words, I made it under enormous pressure in a very short amount of time. It is a testament to the incredible effect of a teacher and a deadline on the productivity of a student.
