Track 8, “House Too,” closes out the album and brings back the offbeat hi-hat feel. The lyrics were originally written for “Love Maybe,” and in another life, may have lived on top of the drop section of that song. But that idea never quite worked out, and in hindsight I am glad it did not! I wanted to do these lyrics justice, and that led to this old-school house track that ends the album. Technology never stops moving forward and while I worked on this album a new version of Ableton Live came out. This track is the first one composed and produced in Ableton 12, while the rest of the album was created in Ableton 11. I dove right into the new features and used the new synth Meld and the new distortion Roar in the process of producing this song.
