Track 5, “Homage,” is a nod to the early works of dubstep pioneers Skrillex and Bass Nectar. This piece is the oldest one on this album. It was started three years ago and finished only a month prior to the album release. There have been numerous iterations in the intervening years. Some projects just take time to bring to completion. And an interesting side note on sub-genre nomenclature: this is the purest incarnation of brostep on the album.
