Track 3, “Goes Like Bass,” takes a lighthearted approach to downtempo dubstep, carrying over the offbeat hi-hats prominent in the last track. This one was also produced in the name of education, this time for “Composing and Producing Electronic Music 2.” As a part of the assignment, the song form was structured around someone else’s track. If you listen carefully, you will find that my song “Goes Like Bass” mimics the section changes found in “Feel No Pain” by GRiZ. “Goes Like Bass” focuses on the slower tempo side of bass music and pulls heavily on the Jamaican Dub influence.
